The show will be performed at Leura Hill Eastman Performing Arts Center in Fryeburg June 1, 2, 8 and 9. Evening shows will be at 7:00 pm and Saturday matinees at 1:00 pm.

Little Shop of Horrors is being directed by Barbara Spofford, who last directed The Miracle Worker and Steel Magnolias for Arts in Motion. This will be Spofford’s first directing experience in the state of the art Leura Hill Eastman Performing Arts Center in Fryeburg. “The PAC’s premier facilities are the perfect place for this spectacular show, which is going to be pure enjoyment for the audience, as well as the entire cast and crew. I can’t wait to get started”, said Spofford. “I am thrilled to be working again with AIM co-founder and choreographer Nancy Greenblatt Shappell, after our last collaboration more than 20 years ago. She is so amazing at everything she does”.

Motherhood has more ups, downs, twists and turns than a roller coaster. For one weekend only, Arts in Motion Theater Company is delighted to celebrate the ride with its hilarious production of MOMologues. Performances will be held on Friday, May 11 at 7:30 pm, Saturday, May 12th at 2:00 pm and 7:30 pm and Sunday, May 13th at 2:00 pm at the Salyards Center for the Arts in Conway Village. This hilarious comedy contains adult material and dialogue and is not suitable for children.

Under the direction of Mary Bastoni-Rebmann, written by Lisa Rafferty, Stefanie Cloutier and Sheila Eppolito and produced with arrangements with Samuel French this show presents a wide range of universal mom situations like pregnancy, labor and delivery, adjusting to life with a newborn, gender differences, the Tooth Fairy, picky eaters, discipline, kids peeing in the playground and all the rest of the real-life comedy that is motherhood.

The Last Romance,directed by Mary Bastoni-Rebmann, is a funny and heart-warming story about the transformational power of love. A crush can make anyone feel young again – even a widower named Ralph (Tom Rebmann). On an ordinary day in his routine life, he takes a different path on his daily walk… one that leads him to an unexpected second chance at love. Relying on a renewed boyish charm, Ralph attempts to woo the elegant, but distant, Carol (Paula Jones). Defying Carol’s reticence – and his lonely sister Rose’s (Pam MacDonald) jealousy – Ralph embarks on the trip of a lifetime, and regains a happiness that seemed all but lost. As Ralph remembers his past and shares his memories, his young persona (Alec Perry) is a reminder of his youth.

Ralph (Tom Rebmann) takes a different walk one day and ends up in the dog park where he spots Carol (Paula Sullivan Jones) with her dog. A bit smitten, Ralph returns to see if Carol might be interested and draws the ire of his sister Rose (Pam McDonald), who is jealous of his sudden infatuation.
